This is so-called Windows cannot find taskmgr.exe Error. The essence of this error is that Windows system is not able to find this file in its system folder. There are not so much reasons of this error. One of the reason is that configuration of system files is wrong.   • 3. Select Options menu on Replace Task Manager and then Restore Task Manager.

Case 2. The specified module could not be found when running Adobe Photoshop.

Solution:

Solution is taken from Adobe official website:

Method 1: Remove the Version Cue CS3 Client. Close all Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) applications.

Do one of the following:

If you use a 32-bit edition of Windows, then delete the \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\3.1.0 folder and these two files:

  • \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\3.0.0.patches
  • \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\build.txt

If you use a 64-bit edition of Windows, then delete the \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\3.1.0 folder and these two files:

  • \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\3.0.0.patches
  • \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client\build.txt

Method 2: Remove the Version Cue CS3 Client, and then repair the installation of the application or Suite giving the error.

Close all Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) applications.

Do one of the following:

  • If you use a 32-bit edition of Windows, then delete the \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client folder.
  • If you use a 64-bit edition of Windows, then delete the \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Client folder.
  • Launch the installation for the Adobe CS3 application(s) or Suite that you have installed, using the appropriate entry in the Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or the Programs and Features (Windows Vista) Control Panel.
  • Choose the Install or Reinstall option and then click Next. Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to repair the installation of the Adobe CS3 application(s) or Suite that you have installed.

Method 3: Uninstall the application or Suite giving the error, remove the remaining files for Version Cue, and then reinstall the application or Suite.

Important: If you have a Version Cue CS3 Server on your computer, back up your Version Cue Server repositories before proceeding. For more information on backing up the Version Cue server, see Back up the Version Cue Server in Bridge CS3 Help.

  1. Close all Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) applications.
  2. Launch the installer for the Adobe CS3 application(s) or Suite that you have installed, using the appropriate entry in the Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or the Programs and Features (Windows Vista) Control Panel.
  3. Choose the Remove option and then click Next. Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to complete the removal of the Adobe CS3 application(s) or Suite that you have installed.
  4. Verify that the following folders have been removed. If any of these folders are still present, then delete them:

On 32-bit editions of Windows:

  • \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3
  • \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3

On 64-bit editions of Windows:

  • \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3
  • \Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3

Case 3: The specified module could not be found when running Citrix application.

The specified module could not be found: dsviewUI.dll

Solution:

Resolution

1. Navigate to a directory that corresponds to the operating system, Language Locale, or MetaFrame version.

  • Citrix\PresentationServer\MPS40\EN\ServerCD\W2K3\Support\debug\w2k3\resource\en on the CD.

2. Copy the resource\en directory to the directory that DSView resides

Case 4: The specified module could not be found on Windows Startup. The name of the file can be random. Usual reason – existing registry path to non-existing file.

Solution:

Use msconfig utility to remove file from start up

1) Goto start – Run.
2) Type “msconfig” without quotes
3) On the start up tab uncheck the line that loads “file mentioned in the error”.
4) Click on Apply and OK.
5) Restart your computer and you won’t get the error message.

Or you can run Hijackthis tool and fix line that look like:

O4 – HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe “path to file like on your error”
